Daniel Riedel

Partner
Daniel Riedel is an entrepreneur with a strong track record of founding multiple companies in the media and technology sectors. He has extensive experience in building large-scale, secure technologies and businesses, with a broad background in engineering, operations, security, analytics, and product development. He is particularly passionate about the intersection of technology and user experience, creating engaging solutions that blend excellent UX/UI design with media and entertainment, all while ensuring security and privacy are maintained.

Brady Forrest

Brady Forrest is the co-founder and Managing Partner of GenLab Venture Studio, where he leads efforts to build companies in the Critical Infrastructure sector. He is also the founder of Ignite Talks, a global talk series featuring five-minute presentations using a dynamic format of 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. Ignite has seen over 10,000 talks delivered and is used by organizations like the Gates Foundation, World Bank, Amazon, and Google. Additionally, Brady serves as a director at two non-profits: Community Arts Stabilization Trust (CAST), which supports art organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Ideas Beyond Borders (IBB), which promotes access to books and information in the Arabic world. He is a Kauffman Fellow, a Loomis Council member at the Stimson Center, and an active angel investor.

Sarah Novotny

As CTO and partner of GenLab Studio, Sarah leverages her experience in leading cross-industry open-source collaborations as a critical component of building secure, scalable products within critical infrastructure. An Open Source champion, Sarah has lead governance and contributor experience work in projects such as Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, NGINX and MySQL. Sarah’s 20+ years of expertise extends beyond technical realms to encompass the human and social sides of technology.
